ExoSense Application

Exosite Applications are billed monthly per deployed application instance.  Each deployed ExoSense application has its own unique subdomain (e.g. https://<yourapp>.apps.exosite.io).  In addition to ExoSense Application Tiers, usage fees may apply.

Usage Fees

Cloud Usage Metrics

Exosite’s Usage Fees are calculated and billed at the end of each month based on the Metrics below.

Usage Fee Details

  • Unless noted, each Metric is calculated as the maximum value during the month
  • Each Metric has a unique unit size
  • Unit size prices are defined by each Metric’s tier pricing table
  • Metrics are rounded up to the nearest unit size for price calculation
  • Metrics are aggregated across an entire business
  • An ExoSense instance is a unique domain of ExoSense in the business account.

Metric: ExoSense Claimed Devices

The maximum total number of uniquely identifiable devices with assigned ownership (claimed) in instances of ExoSense. Assigned devices store historical raw data packets and are available to map device channel data to digital Asset signals.

Metric: New Monthly Data Points

The number of new individual data points ingested, created, processed, and optionally stored (in dynamic time series storage) by solutions and services in the business during the month.

Metric: Total Dynamic Storage

Maximum total of dynamic timeseries storage used by all solutions and services in the business during the month. Dynamic timeseries storage is historical data that is readily available for visualization, reports, and data queries - stored as a value and a timestamp.

Metric: Content Storage

Maximum content storage used by all solutions and services in the business during the month. Content Storage is all content stored in the Content Service, which includes files, firmware, and other content uploaded by users, services, and devices.

Business Account

An Exosite Business Account is owned by the entity that has agreed to Exosite’s Terms & Conditions via the account owner.  An Exosite Business Account must have a billing method set up.
