Product Updates: Five New Languages & a Refreshed Dashboard Management

An OEM selling equipment worldwide doesn’t get to assume the operator on the other end reads English. A plant manager in Osaka or a maintenance tech in São Paulo shouldn’t have to translate a dashboard in their head before they can act on it.

Five New Languages

ExoSense now supports Finnish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Simplified Chinese, bringing the total to 12 languages available as an account preference. It’s worth noting what this does and doesn’t cover: names an OEM or their customer types in themselves - asset names, signal names, group names - stay as typed, since those are configured by administrators and asset managers, not translated by the platform. What changes is the interface around them: menus, labels, buttons, and system messages.

Refreshed Dashboard Management

Alongside the language additions, dashboard management picked up three capabilities that matter once a deployment has more than a couple of dashboards per asset: view access controls (a dashboard can now be scoped to Asset, Manager-only, or fully hidden), icon support for quickly identifying a dashboard tab, and duplication - copying an existing dashboard’s layout instead of rebuilding it panel by panel.

That duplication capability is the direct predecessor to the panel-level duplication and movement that shipped in ExoSense 3.0 a year later - this release is where the idea started, at the dashboard level rather than the individual panel.

Asset Template support was expanded from what had been a much smaller cap up to 200 per group, giving OEMs with large, diverse fleets more room to model distinct asset types under one account.
