It was an exciting week last week in IoT news as Qualcomm Atheros, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, announced the latest expansion of its Internet of Everything (IoE) platform with the addition of new ecosystem providers. Qualcomm chose Exosite's cloud IoT platform software to integrate with its QCA4002 Wi-Fi® solution and its accompanying development platform. This combination will allow durable goods manufacturers to quickly and easily cloud connect devices and jump start the IoE generation of business.

Last week Exosite had a great time at IoT Stream Conference interacting with numerous IoT enthusiasts and professionals in sunny San Francisco. As the IoT world drives forward, we are turning our focus towards Santa Clara, California, in preparation for the IoT Developers Conference (DevCon) on May 6^th and 7^th. Participation and support of local Internet of Things (IoT) events is something Exosite takes pride in, so we are pleased to announce our participation in St.Mary’s University's very first IoT focused event on Thursday, April 16th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The Kabara Insitute event is a free educational experience focused on bringing together IoT professionals and those interested in learning what IoT is and how it is transforming our lives. The event promises to be an excellent way to network, learn, and collaborate as students, IoT professionals, and entrepreneurs join at Saint Mary’s University Center in Minneapolis. An exhibitor fair and networking hour will be held from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, and a panel moderated by Rick Brimacomb will take place from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

As spring flowers extend towards the sun, Exosite will head west to sunny San Francisco for the IoT Stream Conference from April 22^nd to April 24^th. Exosite’s very own CTO, Mark Benson, will present on the topic of IoT Security Patterns: Examining the Landscape of Emerging Security Challenges.
