Exosite has been included in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Global Industrial IoT Platforms, marking the 6th consecutive time Exosite has been recognized in the report.   

Many of Exosite's machine manufacturer and service organization customers are leveraging the HMS Ewon Flexy products for both a gateway to Exosite's IIoT Platform and remote access to machines.  The Ewon Flexy remote gateways support a wide array of industrial protocols (Modbus, BACNet/IP, etc) , OPC UA and is compatible with PLCs from Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, Vipa, Omron, and Hitachi.  

Exosite has been recognized in a report about the Industrial IoT Platform market for the 2nd year in a row, as part of Nucleus Research's 2024 Industrial IoT Data Platforms Value Matrix^TM.  A key take-away about the market and technology found in this report, as featured on Nucleus Research's website, is "In this year’s Value Matrix, Nucleus highlights the software vendors’ shift from providing traditional Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms to more specialized IIoT data platforms as customers increasingly handle large-scale industrial data."

This insight aligns with Exosite's focus to providing highly scalable technology for easily managing a high volume of real-time data streams and providing versatile storage solutions for both immediate 'hot' time-series data and long-term 'cold' data-lake storage for analytics within the Murano Industrial IoT Platform and ExoSense Condition Monitoring application.

Exosite has made its debut in Nucleus Research's 2023 Industrial IoT Platforms Value Matrix report, an exciting milestone for the company. We are thrilled that the report recognizes our commitment not only to delivering IIoT Platform technology but also to ensuring a high level of usability of our solutions. One notable finding from the report, as highlighted on Nucleus Research's website, is "the growing adoption of IIoT among service providers and other industries beyond traditional manufacturing indicates the increasing relevance and diversification of the market." In a recent conversation with Poornima Apte from the insight.tech team, Steve VanderSanden delved into the exciting possibilities that lie ahead for OEMs looking to expand their revenue models. We've recently released some key new features to ExoSense that will help asset managers.  When using Industrial IoT condition monitoring, a lot of focus goes into the real-time monitoring, rules, and taking action based on this streaming signal data.  What can be overlooked are the details around these assets that help provide context, to track things down, and to improve workflows.  We are excited to release Asset Subsystems and Asset Metadata.

As one of 16 vendors to meet Gartner’s inclusion criteria for the report, Exosite was evaluated in this Magic Quadrant report based on its Ability to Execute and its Completeness of Vision.

We are proud to announce that Exosite has won  the "Most Promising Provider" award as part of the 2022 EE Awards Asia in the Featured Cloud Platform category.  Winners of EE Awards Asia are voted by a committee that is comprised of ASPENCORE's global senior industry analysts, as well as more than 10,000 online users in the EE Times reader community and EDN. 

For the second consecutive year of participation, Exosite was included as one of 14 vendors in the MachNation IoT Application Enablement Platform (AEP) Scorecard for 2022.

As you may have heard, Adobe Flash is going end Of life (EOL) on December 31, 2020.  You may be asking what this has to do with IoT and condition monitoring of equipment and assets. Or, you may be starting to sweat as you ping your developers to see if this affects you. Over the last decade, many applications were created using Flash for device management, dashboard visualizations, and remote monitoring. In fact, you may not even know that parts of your web-based application rely on Flash, as it was a trendy go-to for UI development over the last 20 years.
